In My Face

Today, in gym I nearly broke my nose [or it felt like it]... but it wasn't my fault. We were playing a normal game of sharks and minnows. My friend was chasing a boy in my class, everyone else had made it to the other side. They came closer and closer to me the boy running fast. Just as my friend reached out to tag him, he slammed into the wall banging his head. He fell to the floor hitting his head again, this time into the ground. I don't totally remember the last part but I remember him laying on the floor, hurt. Some how, on the way to the wall, his hand, knuckles and all rammed into my face. Not just any part of my face- my nose. As my gym teacher ran to help him, blood slowly drizzled out of my nose. For a short period I felt like I couldn't breathe. I started to tear up, pain shooting through my face. I ran to the bathroom while my gym teacher told someone to get someone, fast. As I walked out, I saw everyone was quiet. Everyone stared at the boy. My friends ran over to see if I was okay. Being truthful, I wasn't so worried about myself. I mean I was but in comparison, I had a minor injury. Trust me. I'm not saying it didn't hurt. It still hurts now. It was like a punch in the face. Everyone slowly picked up their stuff to go to the next class. By then the principal, secretary, my gym teacher, and the counselor were all their. I don't know what happened to my classmate, we haven't seen him since. I hope he's alright. As for me, I'm sure I'll make it.

  1. Glad your nose is okay and hope the boy from school is too. Try to not drop plates on your nose because that really hurts too; trust me, I know! Hope you had a great first week of school!
